![]() ![]() I did contat Bamco customer support, however I need to play for 3 weeks on a 'clean account' to even appeal the ban. Also I've searched My documents for Dark Souls III folders, but didn't find any so I thought I'm clear. I quit immidiately of course but maybe that was enough to flag me. Now that I think about it this was probably what doomed me - I should've deleted the character before turning online on on the clean install. Cinders aims to provide a fresh experience through Dark Souls 3. #DARK SOULS CINDERS MOD PS4#I must admit when I wanted to delete the Cinders character I entered the game on it on accident (I use a PS4 gamepad and the prompt said "press X to delete save", but it was referencing the Xbox gamepad "X" which is square on the Dualshock). Ursprünglich geschrieben von Shifty Thief:Also, did you remember to delete the save game data? if you have a cinders character in your saves when you go online this will also trigger a flag for ban even if you uninstalled both the game and the mod. #DARK SOULS CINDERS MOD MOD#I wonder if there's anything I can do to lift the restrictions? I know it sounds like excuses, but I was just curious about a mod to refresh my DS3 experience - I didn't cheat or hack (even although I can't prove it).Īlso let this be a cautionary tale for people willing to try community acclaimed mods for themselves - it's not worth it in my opinion. I was extra careful so this didn't happen and yet it did. When I quit the game to the main menu I got a notice I got penalized for meddling with the files and my online got restricted. When I launched the new instance of the game and made a new character I turned my status to 'online' again. In the end (after beating the first boss and encountering tons of merchants at the start) I didn't like it and uninstalled both the mod and the whole game (removed the folder in steamapps/common), then reinstalled the game. Your ring slots are still going to be filled with magic buff items but since you can boost your magic stats with armor too it's fine.I have tried Cinders mod, played in 'offline mode' and even made sure network features are disabled in the. Magic is also greatly improved and it's no longer as much that you are overpowered in the beginning then spend most of the game trying to take magic from crap to good. But it helps when you want to use say a weapon that requires a few more levels than you have so you equip some gear that adds those levels and can swap for something else later. The extra stats or buffs from equipment and covenants is also a great feature even though it means armor as fashion is less of a thing. ![]() ![]() Some of them are really tough but a lot of them are fun to fight. I also love all the added human size mini-bosses. ![]() Having many of the Bloodborne weapons (well, within the limitations of what can be modded in so using DS3 weapon animations and so on) was perhaps a bit unnecessary but I really like how much DS1 and DS2 stuff is in there. I like that they also removed a few bonfires that don't need to exist where they are. Just changing enemy placements and bonfire locations makes it a different experience. While I don't agree with all decisions the developers of the mod made (for example Farron Keep is a bit too populated for my liking), most of it is spot on and works in the context of the game's lore and improves the flow of the levels. The DLC areas are mostly unchanged, either the mod developers decided that they were fine as is or just haven't gotten into them all that much. I recommend it for everyone who has the game on PC. I recently completed my playthrough of this on version 1.72. ![]()
